Production Process Engineer to identify and lead projects in production equipment layout with improvement in current technology and processes, supporting current and future production lines that will include new technology for all associated equipment and engineering aspects. You will have a degree in mechanical/process engineering or apprentice trained/similar calibre with excellent planning, change control, managing the process from start to finish and comply with HSE.

An innovative manufacturer, developing bespoke products globally across various Industries including aerospace, marine and transportation, is looking for a ‘hands-on’ Production Control Manager with five years plus exposure in production planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes.  This is a cradle to grave manufacturing and assembly environment where you will be responsible for the delivery of goods and services produced efficiently to order, cost, quantity, and on time. ​​​​

This is a varied role that includes conducting finishing work in the machine shop, producing sub-assemblies for the assembly team, build and test basic finished products, managing raw material deliveries including unloading, booking in and storage and emptying swarf bins when needed.

 You will have exposure working within a manufacturing environment with good manual dexterity, IT and communication skills working with minimal supervision and a great work ethic and self-motivation.

Ideally you will have design of products compliant with Intrinsic safety (ATEX, IECEx) and CE mark with use of 3D CAD/SolidWorks and product data management to generate 2D drawing pack. Experience of NPD manufacturing processes including injection moulding, tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is desirable. Use of simulation tools ideally Comsol or Finite Element Analysis and material selection knowledge of ATEX would be an advantage.

An exciting start up business is looking for a Mechanical Project Design Engineer based in Cambridge. Working closely with the MD, you will have a back ground in energy or automotive with a strong understanding and experience of Thermo Dynamics. You will possess a higher degree in Mechanical Engineering with Engineering theory or similar calibre.
